Our Management Team:

Dave Moura – President: As President of the Southeastern Massachusetts CertaPro Painting by ProGroup Network commercial and residential, Dave Moura has consulted with and provided specialized painting solutions to clients throughout the United States since 1993. Under his leadership, his franchise has won numerous awards for outstanding overall client service as well as outstanding service for commercial clients with multiple locations. Dave is a member of the International Facility Management Association, Painting & Decorating Contractors of America and the Community Associations Institute and is a Friend of the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Matthew Girard – Local Business Development: Matt is experienced in all phases of commercial painting, having worked as a painter, crew leader and in quality control inspection. He has an in-depth knowledge of coatings including epoxies, enamels, DTM, urethanes, acrylics and more. He has worked on a wide variety of commercial projects for such clients as Titleist, Home Depot, Burger King and McDonald’s. A member of the Plymouth, Hyannis, New Bedford and Attleboro Chamber of Commerce, Matt’s duties include project management, estimating and business development.

Joann Ruff – VP of Operations: As Vice President of Operations for Southeastern Massachusetts CertaPro Painting by ProGroup Network Commercial Painting, Joann specializes in serving large commercial clients as well as commercial clients with multiple locations. Her ability to guide clients through the most demanding and challenging projects has enabled Joann to build long-lasting professional relationships with customers. She works with her dedicated Operations Manager to ensure all of our clients are seamlessly guided through the painting process and receive the highest level of service in the industry. Recently, Joann was honored as the National CertaPro Commercial Sales Associate of the Year for her outstanding commitment to the client service and satisfaction. She is a Friend of the Institute of Real Estate Management and a member of the International Facility Management Association, the Painting & Decorating Contractors of America, and the Community Association Institute.

Sherrie DeSouza – VP of Administration & Finance: As Vice President of Administration & Finance for CertaPro Painting by ProGroup Network, Sherrie is responsible for all the financial aspects of the business as well as HR, legal, IT, and general administration. She helped develop the nationally recognized CertaPro Production System which is used by all the CertaPro franchises across the United States. Her approach to production management features an innovative and flexible system that adapts to meet the specific needs of the individual clients on all types of projects. Honored as the National CertaPro Production Associate of the Year in 2004, Sherrie also assisted the CertaPro Corporate Development Team in the creation of an office manager training program used by franchises nationwide.

Jason Pinto – Director of Business Development: As Director of Business Development, Jason is responsible for servicing existing commercial accounts all while introducing CertaPro Painting by ProGroup Network services to new commercial business. His ability to build strong relationships has proven very effective in establishing a high level of customer satisfaction. He also mentors and manages our other Business Development staff to service clients at the same high level he has been successful in doing. He is active in the Institute of Real Estate Management, International Facility Management Association, and The Cancer Society. He has won the National CertaPro Commercial Sales Associate of the Year in both 2009 and 2010.

Brian Shimkus – Business Development: As Business Development for CertaPro Painting by ProGroup Network, Brian is also responsible for introducing services to new commercial business. His past experience in sales makes him a valuable asset to our team, and we are very excited to continue learning his strengths as he helps us grow.

Carla Menard – Operations Manager: As our Operations Manager, Carla is responsible for the coordination and management of our residential and commercial projects. Her extensive background in operations and project management allow her to seamlessly guide our clients through the painting process and ensure that all expectations are met.

Maggie Arruda – Office Manager: As Office Manager for CertaPro Painting by ProGroup Network, Maggie works closely with all members of the staff. She is in charge of payroll, accounts payable and receivable as well as purchase order generation. Maggie is one of the “behind the scenes” professionals who makes certain that every project runs smoothly.

Daniel Ferreira – Road Supervisor: Danny has been with CertaPro Painting by ProGroup Network since 2000 and in that time he has worked as a painter, a crew leader and has since been promoted to Road Supervisor. His extensive experience in the field has helped develop many production teams. His capacity to hire and train painters has proven very beneficial.

John Bernardino – VP of Estimating: With over 30 years of experience in the construction field, John brings an expertise to our estimating team that sets us apart from our competition. His ability to understand the requirements of project, the needs of our clients, and the way the project will be produced allows us to be extremely competitive with our pricing and through with our proposals.

Brandon Deneault – Estimating: Brandon is a 2011 graduate from Wentworth Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture. During his time with us, Brandon has already proven himself to be quite an asset to our team by showing a strong ability to read and understand complex plans and projects. We are really looking forward to continuing to help Brandon hone his skills in the painting industry and are confident he will continue to be an integral part of our estimating team.

Courtney Tamulevich – Marketing Coordinator: As our Marketing Coordinator, Courtney is responsible for overseeing the brand strategy as well as the everyday marketing activities at CertaPro Painters by ProGroup Network. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University located in Boston, MA, and has extensive experience in working with large brands in both the beverage and consumer electronics industries. Her in-depth knowledge and experience with numerous media platforms allows her the ability to run multiple successful campaigns both locally and nationally.
